Seoul International Travel Fair 2023 is taking place in the Republic of Korea.

The event is attended by responsible persons of the Samarkand Regional Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and representatives of the region’s tourism industry.

It is planned to organize the promotional campaign “Samarkand – The Tourist Gate of New Uzbekistan” by the region’s delegation in Seoul and Gyeongju.

The first campaign event was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.

It was attended by businesspeople from South Korea working in tourism, university professors and teachers, and employees of the Korean media.

At the event, information was provided on the tourism potential of Samarkand, the opportunities available for tourists in the transport and logistics sector, and the conditions created at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for training personnel in tourism. Travel companies held presentations on new tourism products.

The gastronomic potential of Samarkand was demonstrated at the event. Oriental sweets and Samarkand bread were presented. The famous pilaf was prepared and served to the participants.
