The first forum, held in 2022, was attended by almost 1.5 thousand investors, representatives of well-known corporations, and heads of companies from 56 countries. This time, about 2.5 thousand investors from 93 countries are participating in the event.

Foreign experts note that the forum results will be noticeable at the state level and cover every region.

Last year, 164 agreements and contracts worth $11 billion came into force. This time, 90 agreements worth $20 billion are expected to be concluded. The main thing is that interest in Uzbekistan is constantly growing, and the list of countries ready to invest in Uzbekistan is expanding.

According to foreign experts, the Tashkent International Investment Forum is of particular importance and relevance in the context of the crisis observed in the international arena.

As part of the forum, panel sessions are held on water scarcity in the world, water resources management aimed at eliminating water problems in agriculture and mining. The participants are discussing short- and long-term strategies to overcome water problems, investment in effective water management and financing of international institutions. The issues of using water-saving technologies are considered.
