Today, the final of the World Series Pro tournament for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held at “Alpomish” Sports Palace in Tashkent.

The press conference organized on this occasion was attended by the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Adham Ikramov, President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Kosimov, representatives of continental and national kurash confederations from 20 countries.

At the continental stages, men competed in weight categories of 66, 81, and 90 kg, and women – in weight categories of 57 and 70 kg. The athletes finishing first and second at each continental stage qualified to compete in the finals.

In the final, 56 athletes from 27 countries in seven weight categories (3 women’s and 4 men’s) will compete for victory.

The winners will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and third place will receive $1,000.
