The strongest judokas in the world to gather in Tashkent
Tashkent will host the Judo Grand Slam tournament, which will provide rating points for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
45 countries have already expressed their desire to participate in these prestigious competitions, the International Judo Federation reports.
Among the participating countries where judo is well developed are Azerbaijan, Canada, Cuba, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
The prize fund for these prestigious competitions, which will be held from 3 to 5 March this year, is 154 thousand euros. So far, 150 male and 136 female judokas have registered to participate in the tournament.
