The Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with experts from the European Training Foundation.

Deputy Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziyayev Zokhidjon welcomed the central office employees and experts of the European Training Foundation, Franca Crestani, Eva Jansova, and trainee Maftuna Usmanova.

The meeting took place within the framework of the “Dialogue and Action for Youth in Central Asia” project implemented by the European Training Foundation.

The main goal of this project, initiated by the European Union, is to identify specialists and assess their qualifications based on the requirements of the modern labor market based on European standards.

During the meeting, the action plan for 2024-2027 and potential areas of cooperation in the field of statistics were thoroughly discussed.
