In January-February 2024, 850 thousand citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan traveled to foreign countries for tourism purposes.

According to the Statistics Agency, their number increased by 421 thousand people or almost doubled compared to the corresponding period last year.

The number of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who traveled to foreign countries for tourism purposes in January-February of the current year by country (persons):

Kyrgyz Republic – 374.2 thousand;

Tajikistan – 178.5 thousand;

Kazakhstan – 117.3 thousand;

Saudi Arabia – 51.3 thousand;

Russia – 33.6 thousand;

UAE – 26.2 thousand;

Türkiye – 23.5 thousand;

Kuwait – 8.9 thousand;

Egypt – 5.4 thousand;

Thailand – 4.7 thousand;

Other countries – 26.4 thousand.
