The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Tilo Klinner.

The parties discussed the state and prospects of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, the timely implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level, and issues of strengthening interaction between representatives of the two countries’ business communities.

It should be noted that by the end of 2023, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Germany exceeded a billion dollars. Germany’s investments in Uzbekistan amounted to $913.2 million.

Currently, there are 215 enterprises in Uzbekistan with the participation of German capital, including 112 individual entrepreneurs.

Following the meeting, measures for further development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation were discussed. At the same time, an agreement was reached on developing proposals for further expansion and diversification of mutual trade.
