These days, in all districts and cities of Uzbekistan, the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence is held under the motto “Only united – we are one people, only together – we are a strong country!”.

Thus, in a joyous and elevated mood in the sports complex of AMMC, the holiday organized by the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex together with the Hokimiyat of the city of Almalyk was celebrated in a festive and solemn atmosphere, filling every heart with joy and excitement.

On the eve of the event, the Russian and Korean national cultural centers of the city of Almalyk, city schools and preschool education institutions, and plant athletes showcased the rich and vibrant cultural diversity of Uzbekistan through their exhibitions.

The Chairman of the Board of AMMC Abdulla Khursanov congratulated everyone on Independence Day and emphasized that the reforms carried out on the path to the well-being of people, the investment projects implemented at the plant – all this became possible thanks to independence.

At the event, the Hokim of the city of Almalyk, Kobil Khamdamov, congratulated everyone on the upcoming holiday and spoke about the events that were held in the city over the past period on the path to improving the well-being of the population. 

During the festive event, a concert program was presented, prepared by the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan team and students of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.
