Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev has held talks with the U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan, the efforts of Uzbekistan and the United States to resolve the Afghan crisis.

The need was noted for the new Afghan authorities to fulfill the key requirements of the international community, especially in ensuring the rights of women and girls to work and education.
