The delegation from the Republic of Korea led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED).

The First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, UWED Rector Sodik Safoyev welcomed Foreign Minister Park Jin.

The UWED hosted a solemn ceremony to award the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Park Jin an honorary doctorate from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for his outstanding contribution to strengthening the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea, enhancing collaboration in science and education.

In turn, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea thanked for awarding him the title of honorable doctor and expressed his wishes for further developing partnership between the universities of South Korea and Uzbekistan and, in particular, with UWED.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy under the UWED and the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
