On July 26, 2024, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the start of the election campaign to elect deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and local Councils. Thus, on August 1, its most important stage began – collecting voters’ signatures.

According to the electoral legislation, a party must collect the signatures of at least 40 thousand voters to support its participation in the elections. Voters have the right to sign in support of one or more political parties. This, in turn, creates conditions for healthy competition in the elections.

Representatives of the Democratic Party “Milliy Tiklanish” approach this process responsibly. Activists, representatives of primary party organizations, the women’s and youth wings of the party, deputies of local Councils, and our compatriots who support the ideas and goals of “Milliy Tiklanish” hold meetings with voters in mahallas and organizations, at industrial enterprises, informing the population about the events to collect signatures.

– More than 120 party members, representatives of mahallas, and young people who supported the party’s participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections took part in the process of collecting signatures, organized by the Navoi Regional Council of the Democratic Party “Milliy Tiklanish” in the shopping center of the city of Navoi, – says Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council of “Milliy Tiklanish” Feruza Bakoyeva. – Participants in such events call on compatriots not to stand aside from what is happening.

The regional party council is organizing the collection of signatures in the remote villages of Sarjal and Yangikazgan in Kanimekh district, mahallas of all districts and cities, places where people gather, and also conducting door-to-door visits to create conveniences for people with disabilities and the elderly.
