Bekzat Jeenbekov’s “Out on the tiles” took second place in the weekly Big Shot photography competition (April 10). The shot depicts a woman in the Ulugbek Madrasah in Bukhara, the digital edition of Britain’s The Times reports.

The results of the competition, held in conjunction with adventure cruise specialists Hurtigruten Expeditions, are published weekly in the digital edition of The Times newspaper.

The publication reports that the first place in last week’s competition went to Mark Levitin with a shot of a local celebrating Holi in Nandgaon, India.
