The Senate hosts an awarding ceremony of state awards

The 32nd Anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan is widely celebrated throughout the country. Various events, spiritual and enlightenment meetings are taking place on this occasion, under the motto “For a new life, for a New Uzbekistan!”

Notably, on the eve of the 32nd Anniversary of Independence, by the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, many compatriots, representatives of various spheres, and civil servants were awarded honorary titles and several state awards.

The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a ceremony to award a group of activists state awards.

At the solemn event, the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Mr. Ismailov welcomed the participants and noted that workers from various fields were presented with state awards during the festive events. He also said that the awarding ceremony is being held in parliament for the first time.

After that, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for a group of compatriots who, with their bright talent and extensive creative, scientific-practical, and technical activities, contributed to the development of Uzbekistan, strengthening independence and continuing reforms towards the creation of a New Uzbekistan.

At the event, the speakers noted the symbolism of presenting high state awards on the eve of the greatest, the dearest holiday of Uzbekistan.
