At a meeting of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investments, and Tourism, the heads of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions in the UAE, Kuwait, and India presented reports on their activities.
It was noted that consistent efforts are being made to strengthen bilateral relations and to ensure the implementation of roadmaps adopted following high-level and top-level visits.
Information was presented on the work being carried out to expand investment and trade cooperation, implement joint projects in the energy, industry, construction, and agriculture sectors, develop tourism, and protect the rights and interests of Uzbekistan citizens abroad.
The multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE, Kuwait, and India in the trade, economic, investment, energy, industrial, and innovation fields continues to grow steadily. Together with leading foreign companies, major prospective projects are being implemented in key areas such as the green economy, smart cities, as well as pilgrimage, medical, and business tourism.

It was noted that Uzbekistan’s mutually beneficial cooperation with these countries continues to develop across such key areas as economy, finance, energy, education, transport, logistics, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and information technology.
In line with the tasks set by the President of Uzbekistan, the embassies are carrying out targeted work to ensure the effective use of modern, innovative, and digital technologies, as well as artificial intelligence, for the advancement of each respective field.
Following the meeting, several proposals were put forward, including measures to enhance the efficiency of diplomatic missions, intensify foreign economic cooperation and tourism, attract foreign investment to promote interregional partnerships, and increase export volumes, including through support for exhibitions and trade houses abroad.
