The semifinals of the 2022 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships are taking place in Turkey.

The championships will include 12 fights, in two of which Uzbekistan’s athletes will compete for the finals. Athletes from Brazil, Algeria, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Mozambique and Poland will also enter the ring. 7 athletes from Turkey, 5 from Kazakhstan, 3 athletes from India and Thailand, one from the United States, Argentina, Bulgaria, Lithuania, China, Colombia, France, Kosovo, Morocco, the Netherlands, Panama, Romania, Spain continue to fight for the world champion’s title.

Aziza Yakubova will face Lorena Valencia from Colombia in the 50 kg weight category semifinals, and Mohira Abdullayeva – Khadija Mardi from Morocco in the 81 kg weight category.
