The season to begin in Malaysia
The ASEAN Track Series (President Cup) international track cycling tournament will be held in Nilai from January 7 to 11.
Members of the Uzbekistan national team will also compete for victory.
The men’s team, consisting of Sergey Rostovtsev, Vladislav Troman, Behzod Nurmatov, and Danil Fedorov, will be led by Johan Dornbush, while the women’s team, which includes Asal Rizayeva and Nafosat Kuziyeva, will be led by Olga Zabelinskaya.
The competition serves as a qualifying stage for the Track Cycling World Cup, which will take place in Australia in March. Ranking points accumulated at the World Cup stages will secure qualification for the Track Cycling World Championships, to be held in Shanghai in October.
