An executive officer of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bunyodbek Mamayusupov, stressed that in the New Uzbekistan, priority attention is placed on the issues of protecting women’s interests and ensuring gender equality.

In accordance with the national legislation of Uzbekistan, a new approach has been initiated to identify and eliminate women’s problems. This helps to increase their activity in the reform process, strengthening their sense of responsibility for the fate of the Motherland.

“Such Jadid women as Anbar otin, Nodirabegim, and Uwaisi lived and worked in our country”, said Nozima Muratova, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan. “For four years, our university has traditionally held a scientific conference dedicated to the great achievements of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi in the development of the Jadid movement. Research and conferences on the role of women in Jadidism are also regularly organized”.

“Women’s issues striving for progress and contributing to the development of the country is increasingly being raised in the films shot by the Cinematography Agency in recent years”, said the Chairman of the Creative Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan Matyoqub Matchonov. “In these films, special attention is paid to demonstrating women’s courage, bravery, and determination”.
