The role of creativity of two great thinkers in the culture of the Turkic peoples
The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, together with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the Friendship Society “Uzbekistan – France”, organized an international conference on “The unique role of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in the culture of the Turkic peoples”.
The participants of the event spoke about the contribution of these two great figures to the development of Uzbek and world literature, about the universal significance of their works, their role in the culture of the Turkic peoples and the problems of studying them today.

“Effective work is underway to perpetuate the memory of these two geniuses, beloved by admirers of literature around the world, popularize their work and study issues that remain out of sight. This was noted based on specific examples and foreign scientists who took part in today’s event online”, the head of the Department of Uzbek Literary Studies, Professor Hamidullo Boltaboyev said.
