The Head of state planned to allocate $160 million to transform 75 kilometers of the Pap – Namangan highway into a four-lane road with a cement-concrete surface.

To carry out this work, the Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzokov met with representatives of the China Railway Group Limited, which is engaged in constructing roads, railways, and bridges. During the conversation in the Regional Hokimiyat, the proposals of the builders on the transformation of the Pap – Namangan highway based on international standards were discussed in detail.

As a result of the project, traffic jams will be eliminated, possible accidents will be prevented, and additional amenities will be created for 1 million people living in more than 300 mahallas and business entities.
