The Development Strategy Center and the analytical center of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future organized an online international roundtable discussion on the results of the election of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Development Strategy Center Director E. Tulyakov, in his speech, noted that the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan were held in full accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Election Code based on equality, transparency, openness, and democratic principles. In particular, the necessary conditions were created for the work of international observers.
Pakistani experts who participated in the Presidential Election in the Republic of Uzbekistan as international observers also made presentations at the event.
In particular, the Executive Director of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future Khalid Taimur Akram, acknowledged in his speech that the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan has done a great job of ensuring that elections are held based on the principles of transparency, openness, and fairness. He also noted that the voter registration process was organized using modern technologies to prevent repeated voting and other illegal actions on voting day.
