The Constitution is a set of state documents embodying the rights, duties, and freedoms of citizens in society.
Today, New Uzbekistan is on the threshold of a responsible political process – the renewal of the Constitution. Any law requires change and improvement. The definition of the value of our multinational people as the highest criterion, taking into account the personality of a person, the opinions and hopes of citizens, strengthens both the significance and the prestige of the renewed Constitution.
Currently, throughout the country, the general public takes part in events held before the referendum. I am glad that the main idea “This is our Constitution!” reflects the word of the people, hope and confidence of people in the future.
Watching the events and meetings held, as a teacher, I am inspired by the feelings and hopes that the teachers do not hide. They are happy to strengthen the opportunities provided in education in the renewed Constitution.
Thus, the 50th and 52nd articles of the renewed Constitution define the norms on the status and role of teachers in society. Now care will be taken about professional growth, raising the status and authority of mentors and teachers who educate and teach the younger generation.
Now the teacher will not be an “auxiliary force” of the hokimiyat and the executive level, it will be a person who has an active position in society, whose rights are guaranteed by the state.
We can confidently say that the comprehensive strengthening of the status of teaching staff in the Basic Law, the full guarantee of their rights will necessarily have a positive impact on the development of society.
