Dushanbe hosted the personal exhibition of the famous Uzbek graphic artist, professor of the National Institute of Painting and Design named after Kamoliddin Behzod, Asliddin Kalonov.

The exhibition features more than 60 graphic works by the artist. Each of them reflects the artist’s approach to embodying the national spirit in an artistic style.

According to the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan Fayzulla Inoyatov and Chairman of the Union of Artists of Tajikistan Nargiz Khamidova addressed the opening of the exhibition. They highly appreciated Asliddin Kalonov’s creativity.

Asliddin Kalonov was accepted into the Union of Artists of Tajikistan, and he was solemnly presented with a certificate. This event was especially noted as a symbol of mutual respect, friendship, and cultural unity in art.

The exhibition plays a crucial role in fostering cultural and creative cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, while promoting modern graphic art. It became a practical step towards the development of friendship, mutual understanding, and dialogue between people.
