Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met in Istanbul with Turkish businessman Rashid Khan to discuss the prospects for trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

Diplomats presented information about the business environment in Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions created for investment cooperation, and the country’s economic, export, and logistics potential.

The Turkish businessman was also introduced to large, promising investment projects in industry, transport, energy, tourism, and the green economy.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on a substantive study of the investment issue in creating a large tourist complex in Samarkand region.
