The prospects for interparliamentary cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia considered

The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, who is in Uzbekistan on a state visit.

It was noted that high-level talks between the two countries’ leaders took place in an open and working atmosphere. This historic visit is essential in strengthening the friendship between the two countries and developing multifaceted cooperation.

Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia, including developing political, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and inter-parliamentary relations, was discussed. The parties continue close dialogue and mutual support within the framework of regional and international structures, including the UN and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

It was proposed to develop a specific action plan to intensify ties between the friendship groups of the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Mongolia and develop inter-parliamentary cooperation.

To strengthen the legal foundations of relations, the issue of developing and signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Great Khural of Mongolia was supported.

The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, left a message in the book of honorary guests of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
