Deputy Prosecutor General Svetlana Ortiqova met with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by Yasser Abdih.

Views on measures to combat corruption and other types of organized crime were exchanged. The parties noted that bilateral cooperation in the legal field has recently been strengthening.

The second meeting took place with the Programme Coordinator at UNODC, Kaitlin Meredith.

The current state of cooperation within the international legal cooperation network between the countries of Central Asia and the South Caucasus, as well as the priority directions for its further development, were discussed. 

Issues regarding implementing the project “Digitalization of processes of international legal cooperation in Uzbekistan” in cooperation with the CASC network were considered.
