At the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon, the delegation of the Prosecutor General’s Office, led by Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldoshev, paid a working visit to Dushanbe to attend the Fifth Meeting of the Attorneys/Prosecutors General of the ECO Member States.

The heads of delegations met with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

The head of state stressed the importance of regular meetings between supervisory authorities to exchange experiences and develop multifaceted cooperation.

The delegation members exchanged experiences on the priority areas of the Prosecutor’s office activities, such as protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and business entities and fighting corruption and other types of organized crime.

Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldoshev delivered a speech on “The experience of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan in protecting the rights of entrepreneurs and investors”.

The participants stressed the need to join efforts in the fight against crime, including expanding and deepening multifaceted cooperation between the competent authorities of the ECO Member States.
