Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriyev took part in the 285th Meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR) in Yazd, Iran.

Permanent representatives of the ECO member states discussed the implementation of initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the 16th ECO Summit held in Tashkent on November 9, 2023.

As part of the event, a plan of events that will take place in Shakhrisabz in connection with the announcement of this city as the Tourist Capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization in 2024 was reviewed.

In his speech, ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri expressed gratitude to the Uzbekistan leadership for holding the 16th ECO Summit at a high level in Tashkent on November 9, 2023.
