Today, February 6, the XXV Winter Olympic Games kicked off in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

A total of 2,871 athletes from 93 countries are taking part in the Games.

Uzbekistan is represented by Medet Nazarov (alpine skiing) and Daniil Eybog (short track).

According to the Olympic schedule, M. Nazarov will compete in the giant slalom on February 14 and in the slalom on February 16.

D. Eybog will take part in the short track 500-meter qualifying rounds on February 16 and in the final event at the same distance on February 18.
