President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a videoconference on the urgent tasks for introducing a new system of working with youth.

Based on the proposals and initiatives presented at the meeting, the program “New Uzbekistan Youth”, aimed at the effective organization of the state youth policy, will be developed.

The program will take into account the issues of educating youth in the spirit of devotion to the Motherland, ensuring their employment, teaching foreign languages and modern professions, involvement in sports, strengthening national and family values, as well as working with youth abroad.

The program will identify specific target indicators.

“Working with youth is one of the main tasks of all leaders, the general public, and our entire society”,  the Head of state noted.

The President called on representatives of the parliament, deputies of local Councils, political parties, intellectuals, veterans, and activists of mahallas to cooperate in educating youth and solving their problems.

At the meeting, information was heard from the heads of regions and industries.
