On May 8, 2024, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, received the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the minister conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Views were exchanged on taking relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan to a new level, huge prospects for bilateral and regional cooperation, and interaction within international organizations.

Readiness was expressed to deepen comprehensive cooperation to enhance economic, investment, interparliamentary, cultural ties, and public diplomacy.
