Upon arriving in Tashkent, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, visited the New Uzbekistan Park.

The distinguished guest laid flowers at the Independence Monument.

During a brief tour of the complex, the Pakistan delegation received detailed information about the images embodied in the monument and the historical events they represent.

The main events of the visit will take place tomorrow, February 26.

The agenda for the upcoming high-level negotiations includes issues related to the further development and expansion of the strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. 

An exchange of views on the current international and regional agenda will take place. Following the summit, a Joint Declaration and several bilateral documents will be adopted.
