Artisans of Uzbekistan are attending the international exhibition of crafts in Malaysia.
Artisans from Bukhara Mehrangiz Shukurova and Navoi Feruza Kulmatova are participating in the exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex.
With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, a pavilion was organized at the exhibition, where our compatriots are demonstrating their skills in carving patterns on copper vessels and the art of embroidery.
The exhibition’s opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, who presented a particular letter of gratitude to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur for the contribution to organizing an international crafts exhibition dedicated to National Craft Day in 2024.
The Prime Minister of Malaysia highly appreciated the participation of Uzbekistan artisans in the exhibition. He was presented with a copper plate made by a Bukhara master and patterns depicting historical monuments of Bukhara.
The exhibition will run until March 4.
