Navoi region widely celebrates the 582nd anniversary of the great connoisseur of human souls, the unsurpassed master of the word Alisher Navoi’s birth. Literary evenings, poetic meetings, roundtable discussions, cultural and educational events dedicated to the life and work of the great poet are held.

Participants of one of these events – representatives of state and public organizations, law enforcement agencies, intellectuals, poets and writers laid wreaths at the monument to the great ancestor in Navoi, honoring his memory.

The main part of the event continued at the Farhad Palace of Culture. At the event, classical songs created based on Alisher Navoi’s ghazals were performed, scenes from his works were demonstrated.
