Today, in the context of the Samarkand Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, a tree-planting ceremony will be held on Registan Square within the framework of the Green Space Project, which will be attended by the leaders of the member states and observer countries of the Organization.

It should be noted that tree planting campaigns are organized simultaneously in the capitals of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, which are members of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as Hungary and Turkmenistan, which have observer status.
