Youth from Hatay province of the Republic of Türkiye arrived in Samarkand.

On March 16 this year, at the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States, the leaders of the participating countries discussed the prospects for developing comprehensive cooperation in emergency management and humanitarian assistance and considered issues of preventing natural disasters and eliminating their consequences.

In his speech at the summit, the President of Uzbekistan proposed to organize a visit of the youth of Hatay province of Türkiye to Uzbekistan, their meaningful leisure and trips to the ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, to hold joint events with peers from Uzbekistan.

The participants of the trip, organized in connection with the implementation of this initiative, took part in a roundtable discussion on “Unity of Uzbekistan – Türkiye youth” at the Youth Center of Samarkand.

The guests visited the historical places in Samarkand.
