At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Uzbekistan on 15 November for a working visit to participate in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the distinguished guest was welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, along with other officials.

On 15-16 November, the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will be held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

A substantial package of multilateral documents is expected to be adopted following the Consultative Meeting.
