On September 1, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with athletes Elbek Sultonov, Yorqinbek Odilov, and Asadbek Toshtemirov, who won the Paralympic Games in Paris and increased the number of gold medals in the Uzbekistan team’s collection to five.

On his behalf and on behalf of all the compatriots, the President sincerely congratulated the athletes and noted that these victories were a worthy gift for the greatest, most precious holiday—Independence Day. The President stated that Uzbekistan Paralympians’ high skill and fortitude in uncompromising competitions inspire the nation, especially the youth.

The country’s Leader thanked their coaches and parents and congratulated the athletes who became prize winners.

The champions noted that in each performance, they felt the support of the Head of state and the people and expressed gratitude for the attention and conditions created for the development of the Paralympic movement in the country.
