On October 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at his residence in Doha, received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, the founder of several significant investment and industrial holdings in the country, Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.

Issues of further enhancing mutually beneficial business cooperation at the level of leading companies and enterprises of Uzbekistan and Qatar were considered.

Implementing promising projects in energy, industry, infrastructure, tourism, and the banking and financial sectors was considered.

The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of accelerating the practical implementation of joint projects by forming an expert group and adopting an action plan.
