On March 2, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in Baku.

In accordance with the agenda, current issues of sustainable development during the post-pandemic recovery of the world such as environment protection, food security provision, and others were discussed.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his speech emphasized the challenges and risks associated with climate change, natural and man-made disasters that humanity has been facing in recent years in addition to fighting the pandemic.
