The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the head of China’s CITIC corporation Xi Guohua, in Beijing.

CITIC is a leading financial services company with major industrial and infrastructure projects. Its assets are approximately $1.5 trillion.

At the meeting, issues of expanding the portfolio of joint projects were discussed, primarily in road transport and engineering infrastructure, as well as the modernization of irrigation systems in Uzbekistan.
