President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Memorial Complex “Halk Hakydasy” (“People’s Memory”) in the city of Ashgabat.

The complex consists of three parts dedicated to the victims of the Geoktepe battle of 1880-1881, the Second World War and the Ashgabat earthquake of 1948. There is a museum behind the central monument that tells about these tragic events.

The President of Uzbekistan honored the memory of the departed and laid flowers at the memorial. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the exhibits of the museum and left a record in the Book of Honored Guests.
