On December 29, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Leader of Uzbekistan and the first President of Kazakhstan exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of the coming New Year, expressing best wishes for peace, stability, and prosperity of the people of the two brotherly countries. 

The high level of friendship, neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the ongoing development of multifaceted cooperation across all priority areas of interaction, was noted with particular satisfaction.
