The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, departed for the city of Saint Petersburg on October 7 to attend the informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

At the summit, the leaders will consider the current issues of multilateral cooperation and regional interaction.
