On October 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Astana to attend the first meeting of the heads of state in the “Central Asia – European Union” format.

The event will be attended by the leaders of the Central Asian countries and the President of the European Council Charles Michel.

Prospects for the development of political dialogue, enhancing interregional interaction, intensification of trade-economic cooperation and cultural-humanitarian exchanges will be discussed.
