The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed his working visit to Astana.

On July 3, the President of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, during which issues of further strengthening of bilateral relations were discussed.

Issues of enhancing collaboration between the two countries were discussed at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif.

Today, the President of Uzbekistan participated in the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the SCO Plus meeting, at which he put forward several essential proposals and initiatives to enhance the multifaceted partnership in the organization’s space.

Following the visit, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other officials saw off the President of Uzbekistan at Astana International Airport. The Leader of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
