Following the Uzbekistan – Qatar Summit, a tree-planting ceremony was held.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani planted a tree in the park of the Samarkand Congress Center.

The ceremony symbolized the beginning of a new stage in the multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar and the leaders’ commitment to strengthening the friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
