At the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to this country on 5-7 October.

Talks will be held between the leaders of the two states in Moscow. The President of Uzbekistan will also meet with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

The agenda of upcoming meetings includes further deepening bilateral strategic partnership and alliance. The primary attention will be paid to enhancing practical cooperation, primarily in trade, economic, investment, migration, and humanitarian spheres.

During the official visit, the President of Uzbekistan is also expected to visit Tatarstan, where talks will be held with Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
