The President of Uzbekistan cordially congratulated the Leader of Tajikistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, prosperity, and success, as well as peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Tajikistan.

Emomali Rahmon’s contribution to achieving the current level of friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was emphasized.

The development of active contacts and exchanges was noted with satisfaction. The trade turnover is growing. Cooperation projects are being implemented in trade, investment, industry, energy, agriculture, and other priority areas.

Views were also exchanged on issues of regional cooperation. The fruitful results of the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the anniversary summit of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, held on September 14-15 in Dushanbe, were highly appreciated.
