On July 29, the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Alexander Sergeev met with the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Academician Bekhzod Yuldashev at the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow.

According to the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed issues of supporting young researchers in Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as urgent tasks for developing cooperation in advanced technologies and innovative developments that contribute to the socio-economic development of Russia and Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeev presented the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bekhzod Yuldashev with a diploma and a badge of a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
