President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Samarkand to attend the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, visited the Hazrat Khizr memorial complex.

The Leader of Tajikistan laid flowers at the grave of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and honored his memory. Surahs from the Quran were recited.
